Designed by the Americans thirty years before the war, the Saratoga and her sisters still serve in the Coalition to this day. They are protected by 20 X-Ray Pulse Laser Batteries and field 300 fighters plus various support craft. Six Ion Thrust Engines provide about 100 Gs of acceleration capability.

CSV Ticonderoga
The Ticonderoga is currently the longest continuous serving capital ship in the Terran Coalition. It has been in service for nearly 60 years, and has undergone many refits. It, along with its sister ships CSV Saratoga, CSV Yorktown, CSV Hornet, CSV Shangri-la, CSV Ranger, CSV Lexington and CSV Essex, form the backbone of the entire CDF carrier force.
