The Lepanto is the latest in a long line of missile cruisers to be developed by Coalition designers. Though it is missile boat, it mounts three Particle Cannons on the aft and bow which provides some flexibility in armament.
Notable Lepanto Class Ships
CSV Actium
Commissioned in 2453, the Actium saw action less than two weeks after leaving dry-dock. With a green crew, she and several escort vessels became trapped by a highly superior League force. Turning to fight, the Actium was offered terms of surrender, to which she responded with a brace of missiles. Though lost with all hands, she destroyed 4 times her tonnage before succumbing to the League forces. The tale of her crew’s bravery lives on in Coalition Defense Force lore.
Other Lepanto class ships include CSV Stromboli, CSV Midway, and CSV Hutchinson.
