A party mostly limited to the European-descended nations, the Christian-Conservative Party would be considered by late 20th/early 21st Century standards to be reactionary.
Emphasizing old traditions, and in most cases loyalty to the handful of restored monarchies, the Conservatives hold the view that the individual should voluntarily sacrifice his/her desires and dreams, and if necessary his or her life, to serve the nation, and that Christian virtue is defined by such means. Some accuse them of misogynism from their general opposition to women serving in combat roles in the Navy.
The Christian-Conservatives are primarily strongest in the orthodox religious colonies of European origin, as well as in agrarian conservative communities on the main planets of the Coalition. They usually hold between five and fifteen percent of the Assembly and their peak strength in the Senate was 50 seats.
