The newest class of fleet carrier in the Coalition. Its massive engines provide acceleration of about 200 Gs. The Audacious can carry a vast complement of combat spacecraft, including roughly 350 Space Superority Fighters; 100 Heavy Bombers, and 50 miscellaneous craft consisting of EW, AWACs, SAR and transports.

The Audacious was jointly designed by Newport News Shipbuilding on New Columbia and British Aerospace on New Britain. The CSV Audacious was built at British Aerospace's facility in the Wellington system; further models were built either there or at Newport News' facility in orbit over New Washington's moon Jefferson.

CSV Ark Royal
The Ark Royal FCVBG is the pride of the Coalition Defense Force. Currently serving as the overall flagship of the CDF, she remains on station 11 months out of the year on the Canaan Home Defense Fleet. Along with her sister ships, CSV Audacious and CSV Abraham Lincoln, the Audacious class Fleet Carriers are the current pinnacle of means to project CDF power.
